Welcome to our Walks Page
We're lucky enough to live in one of the most beautiful parts of the country, The Highlands of Scotland. From canal walks, to climbing munro's - there are plenty of options for all types of walkers. Below are some walks that we would like to share with you, or have been suggested to us.

Chanonry Point and Rosemarkie
A nice easy walk along the removed railway path to Fortrose, with coastal views and beaches. For more information, click here .
Culloden Woods
A large forest with plenty of different tracks for all types of walkers, and lots of interesting historical features along the way. For more information, click here.
Daviot Wood
A peaceful and quiet forest walk,on the A9 south of Inverness. For directions and more information click here.
Drumderfit Hill Walk
A gradual hill climb walk with stunning views of The Moray Firth, Munlochy Bay and beyond. No special footwear required as the paths are pretty flat. For more information on this walk, click here .
Fairy Glen, Rosemarkie, Black Isle.
Firemore Beach, Cove, Poolewe.
A pleasant beach walk, fifteen minutes drive from Poolewe with stunning views, white sand and plenty of wildlfie. Click here for more information.
Inverarnie Esker Trails
A short walk south of Inverness, with three different trails to choose from. Excellent for children and dogs. For more information and directions, click here.
Mellon Udrigle Beach
A beautiful beach on the West Coast, in a remote location near Laide. A two to three hour walk above the coastline, taking in spectacular views of the ocean and summer isles. It is advised to keep dogs on the lead whilst walking along the cliff edges, and in areas where sheep are free roaming. For more information, click here.
Monadh Mor
A four mile woodland walk near Tore, on the Black Isle. For more information on this walk, click here .
Muirtown Locks to Tomnahurich Bridge - Canal Walk
A pleasant canal side walk, with views of the Kessock Bridge, Dunain hill and more. It is also part of the Great Glen Way. Parking available at both the Muirtown Lock end and Tomnahurich Bridge.
